PPA74 - Celebrity Sketch Challenge

Happy Tuesday!

I needed to make a sympathy card so I decided to use this week's PPA Celebrity Sketch Challenge.

The card base is Regal Rose, the embossed piece is Old Olive, and the scalloped piece is Pretty in Pink. I stamped the image with Staz-On Jet Black, colored the outer edge of the flower with a Melon Mambo marker, then went over the entire image with a Sakura Stardust marker. The image and sentiment are from the Three Little Words set and the ribbon is Pretty in Pink satin. ETA: The embossing folder used is SU Sizzix Finial Press.

That's it today for my quick post. Thanks for stopping by.

I think it's nice to get a colorful card for sympathies- its bound to bring a smile to the person receiving it. Great job with the sketch too :) Big hugs~

What a sweet card. I've had to make two of these already, and the new year has just begun. I love the colors you used on this. Best, Curt
