4th Bloggerversary

Happy Saturday!


Well, four years ago today I made my first blog post.  During these past four years, not only have I shared my crafting through my blog, but I have gotten to know so many wonderful and crafty bloggers (around the world!) that I now call my friends.  I have been lucky and have had the pleasure of meeting some of you in person.  Though I haven't met all of you (yet!), I feel I know everyone so well.

Christmas Gift Tag Basket

Happy Tuesday!

Today I have another project from the current I4U! Celebrating U! session. Madeline created a tutorial for a basket with pockets for 3x3 notecards and envelopes.. As soon as I saw it, I thought of a Christmas Gift Tag/Wrapping Basket.

I didn't finish all the tags yet, but each pocket will hold 3-4 3x3 gift tags. Inside the basket I put a pair of scissors, a pen, scotch tape, mini bows, and two rolls of curly ribbon.

Supplies used: Old Olive & Real Red CS, Dashing & Misc. DSP, and 5-Petal Flower & Stocking Punches.

Cute Bunny Basket

Happy Tuesday!

I meant to post this on Easter, but time just slipped away...

Today I have a project from the current edition of I4U! Celebrating U! This bunny basket is so cute--it is on the coffee table in my living room. I did change it up a bit, i.e., put the sentiment on the ear and added some butterflies. I plan to make a few of these for gifts for next Easter. The box is 3x3x3, so it holds a nice amount of Easter candy.

Spring Banners

Happy Tuesday!

It's good to be back blogging and crafting. My mother was visiting for a little over two weeks and during that time we took a trip to Savannah and Hilton Head (neither of us had been to either place before). If you have never been to Savannah, I definitely recommend visiting.
