LNS 221 - Let's Celebrate!

Happy Monday!

This week we are celebrating for the LateNightStamper's Challenge.  The DT is challenging you to make a celebration project--card, gift card holder, scrapbook page--just have fun with it!    There are so many occasions for celebration--graduation, wedding, and birthday to name a few.  I chose Mother's Day:

I used Q-tips to color the embossed flowers.  The place setting and sentiment were fussy cut and popped-up with dimensionals, and the edges of the doily were sponged.

I just ordered another four place settings of flatware for my mother and thought this card quite appropriate.

Supplies used:  Pink Pirouette and White CS, Certainly Celery, Pink Pirouette, and Versamark Ink, Silver Embossing Power, Elegant Bouquet EF, Rhinestones, Doily, and Silver Setting and Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Sets.

You have a full week to participate in the Celebration Challenge. Please visit  the LateNightStamper's Challenge Blog to get all the details on participating and to see the inspiration posted by the rest of the DT.

IBS WHW #97 - Stamping on Canvas

Happy Tuesday!

This week's IBS WHW tutorial is about stamping on canvas.  I had never stamped on canvas, but I just got Canvas Paper and wanted to give it a try.

The sentiment and jar topper were both stamped on Canvas Paper.  I cut the Mason Jar with my Silhouette Portrait (Joanna provides free cut files for her stamp sets).  I also used my Bow Maker for the first time (thanks again Jean and Milt).  It was nice to stay at my craft table to make a bow rather than go to the kitchen and use the knife block!

Supplies used:  Pink Pirouette, Rose Red, and White CS, Canvas Paper, Retired DSP, Pink Pirouette and Rose Red Ink, Beautiful Wings Embosslet, IBS Fancy Label Dies 1, Baker's Twine, Doily, Pink Pearls, Twitterpatted Button, IBS Seam Binding, and IBS Beautiful Iris, Delicate Doilies II, and Mason Jars Stamp Sets.

LNS 220 - Switcheroo

Happy Monday!

Welcome to my post for this week's LateNightStamper's Challenge.  The theme this week is Switcheroo!  The challenge is to take a scrapbook layout and turn it in to a card or vice versa.  You may also make a 3D project, as long as the inspiration is from a layout or card.

I took my inspiration from one of my own scrapbook layouts.  You can see it here (the layout on the right).  I did a switcheroo and made a sympathy card for my brother who lost his cat last week (she was 16).

Supplies used:  Basic Black, Daffodil Delight, Marina Mist, Night of Navy, Old Olive, Perfect Plum, Pumpkin Pie, Real Red, and White CS, Black, Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery, and Marina Mist Ink, Oval, Round, and Scalloped Round Punches, and Three Little Words (retired) stamp set.

You have a full week to participate in the Switcheroo Challenge.  Please for the LateNightStamper's Challenge Blog to get all the details on participating and to see the inspiration posted by the rest of the DT.

IBSIC #53 - A Little Purse

Happy Tuesday!

Today I am sharing my project for the IBSIC #53.  Here is the pretty color/inspiration photo:

I made this little purse for my friend Jean:

Supplies used:  Crumb Cake and White CS, Rose Red DSP (for the Nuggets), Island Indigo and Rose Red Ink, PTI Favor It Box 1 Die, SB Labels 18 and Oval Dies, Pearls, Tulle, IBS Flower, and IBS Small Fancy Labels 18 Stamp Set.

Look what Jean's husband made for me:

When Jean saw this post about how I used my steak knife set to make a bow, she told her husband he had to make a bow maker for me like he made for her.  Thank you Milt (and Jean)!

LNS 219 - Paired With a Punch

Happy Monday!

Welcome to my LateNightStamper's Weekly Challenge post.  This week the DT is challenging you to use a stamp along with its coordinating punch.

My Delightful Decorations set hasn't seen ink in awhile, so I thought it was time to give it some attention.  And, it's never too early to make a Christmas card!

I stamped and punched three ornaments, scored them down the middle, and glued the sides together.  There is Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details on the edges of the ornaments.  The 3D ornament easily folds flat for mailing.

The inside:

Supplies used:  Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla CS, Be of Good Cheer DSP, Cherry Cobbler and Always Artichoke Ink, Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details, Northern Flurry Embossing Folder, Ornament Punch, Rhinestones, and Delightful Decorations and Happy Hour Stamp Sets.

Please visit the LateNightStamper's Weekly Challenge Blog to see what the rest of the DT posted and to get all the details on linking your 'Paired with a Punch' card, L/O, or 3D project.

IBS WHW #96 - Spring Cleaning

Happy Sunday!

This week's IBS WHW video tutorial is all about organizing your craft room.  I decided to start by labeling the drawers of my craft cubes.

Close-ups of some of the labels:

The second to smallest die from the IBS Fancy Label Dies 1 fit perfectly into the label slots on the front of the drawers.  Now I don't have to open four drawers before I get the one with the punch I was looking for!

Supplies used:  Pink Pirouette CS, Bermuda Bay (RGV using Word) and Rose Red Ink, IBS Fancy Labels Dies 1, Rhinestones, and Judith Flower Stamp.

PPA156 - A Fresh Breeze Color Challenge

Happy Tuesday!

This week there is a color challenge on the Pals Paper Arts Blog.  The PPA DT has a pretty color palette of Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue, and Marina Mist.

Who, besides me, will miss Certainly Celery and Bashful Blue?  Along with Pretty in Pink, they are my favorites that are retiring.

Here is my card:

When the Spellbinders Window Two die came out, I just had to have it (bought it when Jean and I went to StampFest two months ago).  Of course, the die that I had to have didn't make it out of the package until I made today's card.  If I hadn't seen this beautiful card, it might still not have been used.

Supplies used:  Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery, Marina Mist, and White CS, Bashful Blue and Marina Mist DSP, Misc. PP, Marina Mist Ink, Marianne Creatables Rose Dies, Sizzix Beautiful Wings Embosslit, Framed Tulips EF (inside of card), and Scribbles Swirls Sizzlet, SB Fancy Framed Tags Two and Window Two Dies, Pearls, May Arts Silk Ribbon, and MFT Polka Dot Greetings Stamp Set.
