IBS Pink Poinsettia

Happy Sunday!

Welcome to the Inspired by Stamping Sunday Designer Feature.

Today I am featuring a card using the October Release Poinsettia stamp set and non-traditional Christmas colors:

I started by stamping the poinsettia image twice, coloring them, and fussy cutting them to create a dimensional poinsettia.

The sentiment, from the Poinsettia stamp set, was stamped and die-cut using the large banner from the Fancy Label Dies 3. I sponged the sentiment while it was still inside the die.

The inside sentiment is also from the Poinsettia stamp set and was die-cut with the small banner from the Fancy Label Dies 3.

What do you think of today's card? I know non-traditional Christmas colors aren't everyone's 'cup of tea,' but I really like this color combination.

Please visit the Inspired by Stamping Blog to see what Joanna is featuring today and to get the full line-up of all the Designers.

Thanks for stopping by!

Beautiful card, Lisa. I like the nontraditional color scheme, too. It's nice to shake things up a bit for Christmas.

I like pink poinsettias best of all. The red is pretty too, but the pink is nice and soft. Beautiful card, Lisa:)
