LNS 245 - Spring has Sprung!

Happy Monday!

Welcome to a new Late Night Stamper's Challenge--Spring has Sprung! The design team is challenging you to use flowers and/or Spring colors. You may create a card, L/O, and/or 3D project for the challenge.

For my design team sample, I used flowers and Spring colors:

What says Spring and Easter like So Saffron and Wisteria Wonder?!?!?

After embossing the front panel, I used a brayer to add color to the raised area. The leaves were stamped directly on the card panel. The flowers were stamped and cut with the coordinating framelits, then adhered with dimensionals.

For more design team inspiration, please visit the LNS Challenge Blog. This challenge runs for two weeks, so you have plenty of time to add your Spring has Sprung! project. We look forward to see what you create!

Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies used:  Whisper White and Wisteria Wonder CS, So Saffron, Wild Wasabi, and Wisteria Wonder Ink, Framed Tulip EF, Bitty Banners and Secret Garden Framelits, Pearls, and Secret Garden and Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Sets.

IBS National Craft Month Layout

Happy Wednesday!

Today I am sharing my Inspired by Stamping Design Team Layout for National Craft Month!

For today's scrapbook page, I used the new March release Flower of the month: Sweet Pea stamp set and a sheet of patterned paper from the Spring Lilacs paper pad.

I stamped the small Sweet Pea images on watercolor paper, then colored each one with markers and an aqua painter.  A picture of Harry, a doily, and stamped Sweet Pea sentiment finished off the page.

In case you are wondering, I always call Harry my little sweet pea.  I really like this page and think I will frame it for display.

I hope you are inspired to create a scrapbook page to celebrate National Craft Month.

There is an Inspired by Stamping Scrapbooking Challenge this week and one randomly selected participant will earn a Guest Designer Spot in April!

Creations by AR March Release and Blog Hop

Happy Tuesday!

Welcome to the Creations by AR March Release and Blog Hop. This month's release is all about Spring and there are two new templates being released today.

I am featuring the adorable Carrot Patch:

This template was so fun to embellish. It is also very versatile as it can be used without the insert so you can fill it with more goodies or it can be used as a planter for any occasion.

I filled each carrot with three Hershey Kisses.

The second template being released today is the Standing Cross.  I'm certain you will see some samples of it as you visit the rest of the AR Girls.

The new templates come in PDF, Silhouette, and SVG formats.

What would a new release and blog hop be without a prize?!?!? Please visit and comment on the DT blogs and the Creations by AR Facebook Page for a chance to win your choice of the Carrot Patch or Standing Cross template. Comments will be accepted until noon ET on Friday, March 14.  The lucky template winner will be announced on Saturday, March 15 on Adela's Blog and Facebook Page.

Now, it's time to be inspired by the rest of the AR Girls:

IBS Just Sailing in to say Hello!

Happy Monday!

Today I have a masculine card to share using the Inspired by Stamping Ahoy, Matey stamp set. Do you find masculine cards difficult to create? I sure do!

This card design came together easily and I am quite pleased with how it turned out. I love the look of the weathered wood technique (Wolfgang thought it was a piece of patterned paper!).

Here is a better view of the 'porthole':

And, a quick peek at the inside:

I will be entering this card in the following challenges:

Friday Mashup FM150 - Create a masculine card and/or use sewing/stitching.

Just Us Girls #231 - Weathered Wood Technique

LNS 244 - Wind

Happy Monday!

Welcome to a new LNS Challenge. March is all about wind, so let's create something that has to do with wind (kite, pinwheel, etc.).

Here is my 'windy' DT card:

I sponged the background and hand-cut the kite.

How about some more 'windy' inspiration? Please blow on over to the LNS Challenge Blog to see what the rest of the DT has to share. While you are there, check out the rules for participating and get started on your wind-themed card, L/O, and/or 3D project. The challenge is open through Sunday, March 23 so there is plenty of time for you to link-up and share with us. We look forward to see what you create.

Thanks for stopping by!

IBS National Craft Month Card and Tag

Happy Thursday!

I am excited to share my Inspired by Stamping Design Team Card and Tag for National Craft Month!

It was fun creating this card and tag gift set. Yes, I think of it as a gift as well. The ‘spools’ can easily be removed so the trim can be used by the recipient. Though, I must admit, if I received this set I don’t think I could take it apart.  I would most likely display them in my craft area.

I used paper from the Vintage Floral paper pad to mat my card. The Vintage Thread stamp set creates darling ‘spools.’ In keeping with the vintage feel of the card, after I made the seam binding bow, I drenched it with water, crumbled it all up, then shaped it, and put it outside to dry.

A coordinating piece of paper from the Vintage Floral paper pad was used on the tag. To get the fancy cut on the top of the tag, I used the Fancy Label Dies 1. I placed a doily between the layers to add to the feminine feel of the tag.  The sentiment is from the Beautiful Iris stamp set.

I hope you are now inspired to create a card and/or tag for National Crafting Month.

There is an Inspired by Stamping Card and/or Tag Challenge this week and one randomly selected participant will earn a Guest Designer Spot for April!  How fun is that?!?!?

Please click here for all the details on participating.  The challenge linky is open until Sunday, March 9.  I look forward to see your entry!
