Happy Thursday!

Today I am sharing the cards my customers received as thank yous for placing an on-line order during the month of April.

I used the Watercolor Wings stamp set along with the coordinating framelits. The Peekaboo Peach version on the left is the card everyone received, and the Emerald Envy version on the right is the card for second orders placed during April.

Here's a look at the inside and coordinating envelopes:

I opted to not add a sentiment so the cards could be used for a variety of occasions.

Thanks for stopping by!

Customer Technique Card

Happy Monday!

At my last stamp class, Judy shared a card she made, along with her new technique that she accidentally discovered! I thought her card was pretty and her technique fun, so I told her I would like to feature it on my blog.

Let's take a look at Judy's card:

So, what about Judy's new technique? Judy stamped the first flower in Wisteria Wonder. She decided she wanted the second flower to be lighter, so she stamped off on a piece of paper towel, then stamped the flower. The texture of the paper towel created a pattern on her stamp, which stamped a patterned flower!

Thank you Judy for sharing your card and new-found technique.

Happy crafting!

Fancy Fold Summer-Themed Card Class

Happy Monday!

I held a Fancy Fold Summer-Themed card class on the 11th and again on the 15th, and today I am sharing the cards we made.

First up is a Z-fold card:

Ice Cream sure says Summer, though I must confess, I eat it year-round! The Frozen Treats Framelits were used to create a yummy sundae. Calypso Coral and Lemon Lime Twist make a fresh color combo. The card base is 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 2 3/4 and 5 1/2.

Here is the Z-fold opened:

The only stamping is the sentiment on the front of the card and the envelope. I thought this was the easiest of the four cards, but it took the longest to complete.

Next up is a front step card:

A summer class would not be complete without using the hot Daisy bundle. The Daisy punch is the best selling punch in recent years. The daisies were stamped, punched, and layered off-set with dimensionals. The card base is 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 1 1/4, 2 1/2, 4 1/4, 6, and 8 1/4, with an additional 4 1/4 x 5 1/8 piece.

Here is a side view:

Daffodil Delight is bright and summery. The sentiment is from the Watercolor Wings stamp set.

I always like center step cards, so that is the third fancy fold:

OMGosh--I LOVE the Fabulous Flamingo stamp set. One, two, three, four steps to a beautiful flamingo. Of course, Flirty Flamingo was used for the flamingo, along with Powder Pink and Tuxedo Black. You can see a previous center step card, along with the directions, here.

The back of the card:

The sentiment is from the new Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set.

We finished the class with a card in a box:

Everyone liked the swimming Seaside Shore fish. A lot of fussy cutting was done for this card, though it did come together quickly. There are three sets of sea grass adhered at varying heights. It really is fun having a pop-up card that folds flat for mailing. It is a Wow card that is easy to create. The card base is 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 2 3/4, 5 1/2, and 8 1/4 on the long side and at 1 3/4 from the first score on the short side. Cut up on these scores.  A piece of 1 x 2 1/2 CS, scored down the middle at 1/2 was used to attach the box together. The fish were adhered with glue dots to three pieces of 1/2 x 3 1/2 CS, scored at 3/8 on both ends.

Delightful Daisy DSP is not just for flowers--it was used for all four cards! How versatile is that?!?!?

I always give my class attendees a table gift:

The Wood Crate Framelits and coordinating Wood Words stamp set were used to create these cute (and quick) gifts.

Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting!

March Thank Yous - Bunny Buddies

Happy Tuesday and Happy Fourth of July!

Today I am sharing what my customers received as thank yous for placing an on-line order during the month of March. Rather than thank you cards, I made Easter baskets and 3x3 note cards.

The bunny faces were stamped with the stamp set from the Bunny Buddies Paper Pumpkin Kit. If you missed that kit or would like an additional one, there are currently a limited number of kits available for Paper Pumpkin subscribers to purchase.

The Sweet Sugarplum basket is what each of my customers received, and those that placed two orders during the month of March, also received the Peek a Boo Peach basket. Linen Thread was my thank you gift for March, so it went in the basket along with a coordinating 3x3 note card.

The DSP for the baskets measures 6x6, scored at 2 all around. The CS for the handles measures 2 x 9.

The 3x3 note cards and envelopes are included in the Bunny Buddies kit.

Of course, the little envelopes were stamped too.

Happy crafting!

Supply List: Peek a Boo Peach, Sweet Sugarplum, and Whisper White CS, Playful Palette DSP, Basic Black Archival Ink, Layered Circles Framelits, and Bunny Buddies Paper Pumpkin Kit

2017-2019 In Color Card Class

Happy Wednesday!

Today I have pictures from last week's 2017-2019 In Color Card Class. The class included five cards and a matching box.

Though the cards weren't all the same, they coordinated to make a nice set:

Here are the Powder Pink and Berry Burst cards:

Oh my gosh, the Tranquil Tulips stamp set is gorgeous! The two-step tulips are easy to stamp and look so realistic. The Powder Pink and Berry Burst cards are the same, except the butterflies were placed on opposite sides.

The single Stylized Birthday stamp was used for the inside. Of course, there are coordinating envelopes.

The Lemon Lime Twist card:

Everyone liked the fun fold.

The measurements for this card are 5 1/2 x 6 1/2, scored at 2 1/4, and the folded piece is 3 x 6, scored at 3.

And, the Tranquil Tide and Fresh Fig cards:

These are a switch of the first two cards, the sentiment is on the front...

and the tulip on the inside.

Here is the box:

The measurements are 9 x 7 1/2, scored at 1 1/2 all around, for the box and 6 5/8 x 8 1/8, scored at 1 all around, for the top.

Here is the box open:

Attendees got to choose their box color when they signed up for class. There were two Berry Burst, two Fresh Fig, one Powder Pink, and one Tranquil Tide. As no one chose Lemon Lime Twist, I should have thought to do my sample in that rather than Powder Pink.

Here is a picture of the table set and ready for class to begin:

I always give a 'table gift' at my classes. This time I used templates from MyScrapChick to make a 3D initial for each attendee. Their initial was done in the In Color they chose for their box.

Of course there has to be a treat included.

Thanks for stopping by!
