Engagement Slider Card

The double slider cards are beautiful & a true gift to give. They can be time consuming to make, but the end result is worth it.

This is one that I made for a friend's engagement. The print paper is from the Disney collection. (I love any shade in the purple family!) It is hard to tell in the picture, but the flowers have glitter on them and the largest pink heart has lace around it. I used red line tape to adhere the lace to the cardstock. The hearts & champagne glasses were made with my Sizzix dies. The glasses were cut from metallic silver cardstock and I put stickles along the top to make it look like bubbles. The hearts & glasses are attached with pop dots. I also used a silver marker to trace around the edges. For the personalized hearts, I first printed the wording in purple on matte silver cardstock and then cut the hearts. The ribbon around the matching envelope is sparkly/iridescent. The card can slide right into the matching envelope without untying the ribbon.
