Hawaiian Origami Shirt

I am definitely into the beach/tropical/Hawaiian theme this year. I made the flip flop birthday cards for all the 'girls' on my list & I made these adorable Hawaiian shirt birthday cards for all the 'boys' on my list.

The origami shirts are very easy to make. I followed Cambria's tutorial:

The shirts can be made with any pattern paper. They would also be cute in striped or solid paper with a necktie. How about for Father's Day?!?

I used flower brads for buttons. Some of the shirts have pink ones, some yellow ones, & some green ones. Happy Birthday is embossed in green on the inside. As I like my envelopes to coordinate with my cards, I stamped a flower on the front & on the back flap. The flower on the front I did in yellow and the one on the back in pink. I used pencils to color them in.
Thanks for stopping in...happy crafting.
