This weekend I attended my friend Stacey's 40th birthday party! What a great time we had. The food was delicious and the weather perfect. I wish I had taken a picture of the cake. Of course the inscription read, 'Happy 40th Birthday Stacey.' But, this cake was a bit different. The 40th was crossed out and 30th was written above it. How cute! For those of you who are new to my blog, I was introduced to stamping by Stacey. Now on to my above posted pictures!
The first two pictures are the front and back of Stacey's bikini birthday card. The ribbon is so pretty. It is velvet and I got it at Michael's. The mocha color is so pretty.
I introduced Stacey to JustRite Stamps when I made her wedding gift basket last November. You can see those postings here and here. She purchased the Curlz Font set that I used for her monogrammed notecards. Since she did not get the Small Alphabet set (which I use all the time!) I decided to get one for her. So, the third picture shows the little gift bag I put together with the JRS Small Alphabet set, an Onyx Black Versafine ink pad, and a bottle of Crystal Stickles.
The fourth picture shows the whole gift ensemble, which also included the new JRS set - 2" wood stamper with 15 pt. font and flower center. (I got one for myself too!)
Well, I hope you enjoyed seeing the pictures of Stacey 40th birthday gift. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you visit again soon.
p.s. The callenge this week at 2RedBananas is 'tied up with ribbon.' So, I am entering Stacey's bikini card in this 'use ribbon' challenge. You can check out the challenge here.
