Today I have the Exploding Gift Card Holder Box that I made for my mother for Christmas.
I wish you could see the poinsettias in real--they are so pretty and sparkly.
The middle holds a gift card and there are snowflakes on acetate in each corner. The pictures are my grandparents, my nieces, my parents, and a family photo of my mother, brothers, and myself.
The exploding box is 12 x 12 scored and cut at 4 all around, the gift card holder is 3 1/4 x 7, scored at 3 1/2 (the opening was made with a 1 circle punch, and the 'wedge' holding up the gift card holder is 3 1/4 x 3 1/4, scored at 1, 2, and 3. The top is 4 1/8 with a 1 side. The acetate for the snowflakes is 1/4 x 4, scored at 1/2 and inserted in slits in the corners of the mat. The pictures are 3 3/4 x 3 3/4.
