IBSIC #43 - Easter Basket

Happy Monday,

Today's project is for this week's Inspired by Stamping Inspiration Challenge, which is a photo/color challenge:

I soon as I saw the colors, I thought of Easter.  So, I created a little Easter basket as a table decor.

Here is the front of the basket:

I am running low on So Saffron CS, so I used White CS for the basket base.  As you can probably see from the pictures, I cut the CS a tad too big.  If I hadn't been off on my measurement, or if I had used So Saffron CS, there wouldn't be that annoying white showing on the sides.

The correct measurement for the basket base (to use the largest of the Fancy Labels Dies 1 for layering) should be 7 5/8 x 7 5/8, scored at 2 all around.

I used the IBS Silhouette Cut Files (for the Easter Stamp set) for the eggs and large bunny.

Supplies used:  Certainly Celery, Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose, So Saffron, and White CS, Regal Rose Ink, IBS Fancy Labels Dies 1, Marianne Creatables Rose Dies, Sizzix Beautiful Wings Embosslit and Swirls Sizzlet, MS & SU Punches, Pearls and Rhinestones, IBS Easter and Just Because Stamp Sets.

Thanks for stopping by!

A wonderful Easter basket and actually I like the little white spaces peeking out.
The color combo is great and your decoration just lovely.

Absolutely adorable, Lisa! I would not have even noticed the white if you would not have said something about it. I thought it was part of the design element. Everything about it is just too cute!

Now that is an EXCELLENT idea for the Fancy label dies and stamps. You've inspired me. I make paper gift bags often and I do believe on the next one I'll be following your example. Lovely work here!!!

I agree with Shani, this is an excellent (or 'egg-cellent') way to use these new IBS dies, Lisa! It is SO precious!

Thanks for playing with us at IBS! By the way, saw your creation featured on Facebook. Joanna showed it off, and with good reason!

Lisa, deine Maschine kann ja auch Körbchen zaubern, toll!
So schöne Frühlingsfarben!
