Today I am sharing the feminine birthday tag that I created for my monthly tutorial for the August edition of Die Cut Crazy Magazine.
I love creating tags, especially girly ones!
Here are the dies and stamps I used:
My finished tag is 6½ x 3½. To get the pretty edge on the top of the tag, I used the largest of the Labels 18 dies:
I die cut the mannequin from cardboard (an old cereal box) and patterned paper, then glued them together.
For the tulle skirt, I cut three strips from the tulle roll about 1½ inches wide, knotted each in the middle, folded them at the knot, then hot glued them to the mannequin.
The Happy Birthday (Stampin’ Up!) and Fabulous (Lil’ inker designs) sentiments were stamped, die cut, and lightly sponged while still inside the dies.
I hope you enjoyed my birthday tag and are inspired to create one (or more!) yourself.
